Some may recall the name of this nursery as the place where Princess Diana was working when she was engaged to Prince Charles, but many know Young England Kindergarten (YEK) as the nursery that’s all on one level, the children play in the very large communal gardens next door and also have access to their own private outside space.
The children love the school and many stay in touch as alumni! The parents are like minded people who get along and the school is considered a feeder into some of London’s best schools.
It is an old school approach to education . The school stages 2 plays a year and all the children participate. The children take weekly bus trips to their ballet, as if they were in big school!
Football, French, drama and music are all on the curriculum.
They even have outings to the theater.
